with the evening on my tail

I saw a lot of weddings like this when I was in Rome - turn a corner on a Saturday and you're liable to find yourself right in the midst of smiling, suit-clad gentlemen and done-up ladies all milling around in some sunlit courtyard outside some sweet little church, the cobblestones strewn with grains and flower petals. Very simple, very easy and comfortable. At first I felt a bit awkward, picking my way through the proceedings with my shorts and my Holga, but nobody seemed to mind much.
Unfortunately I didn't see any nice young Scottish boys singing folk music at the wedding parties. But how much do I love Paolo Nutini?
